Joe (Age 9, He/Him)

Joe likes popcorn, ramen, and music. Fractals, gaming, and cats. Swimming, going for walks, and greeting the neighbors. He does not like fireworks, sauces of any kind, and long days. He says that autism is beautiful because it makes him who he is, and he wouldn’t change that.

Joe has never met a stranger and makes friends wherever he goes. He loves people. He especially loves sharing his extensive music knowledge with them. That requires plenty of time at home in his safe space with his safe people, where he is able to let go of the demands.
