Soul of Autism Project

Soul of Autism is a photography project by Erica Bacon of Evermore Studios. Erica Bacon is a late diagnosed autistic woman with a heart for autism advocacy. Photos of autistic people of all ages and walks of life are captured and shared with personal stories from each person. Participants are not charged for their sessions and receive free photos.

The goal is simple: To raise awareness and acceptance of autistic people and celebrate the diversity and complexity of the autistic spectrum.

The goal is to not only share these amazing images and stories online, but to showcase them in ArtPrize 2026. ArtPrize is an art competition held in Grand Rapids, MI with artists from all over the world.

Since all sessions are done at no cost to the subjects, donations are needed to bring this project to life. What your support will go towards: Studio rental fees for the sessions, coffee table books for the participants, application fee, printing cost for the metal prints, display hardware and lighting, insurance and promotional fees to spread awareness about the project. Any donation amount is appreciated.
