Noah (Age 13, He/Him)
Noah is a sweet, smiling, nature-loving, hard-working, and unique in his own way. Noah opens our eyes and mind to see the world in a way that inspires us to slow down. Looking at the leaves on trees to the grass on the ground. The way the wind sounds and dances all around. Watching Noah find joy in the littlest flower or leaf. He is a blessing in our family.
Noah is nonverbal but can make his point very loud and heard by all. He loves a good echo and music in his ears. Meagan Trainor’s “Better When I'm Dancing" is his favorite song while riding in the John Deere Gator, checking on the steers and chickens with his brother driving him around.
Noah has been in therapy or schooling since he was 2 years old. He would do 10 hours of schooling and therapy 3 days a week by 5 years old. Autistic kids and adults work in therapy and schooling to learn to help them function in a world that doesn't always function with them. Noah will always need our help, but he helps us so much more with his hard work and kind heart.
